Barber Joe’s client, Stephen, brings his buddies from out of town to get a haircut at the barber shop!

We love the support of current barbershop clients bringing in their friends and co-workers to the business.

Last night the shop had a private event with Yelp and had special sponsorship from Courvoisier, and Two Boots Pizza!  We made some new friends, drunk some tasty cocktails, had some delicious pizza and gave away free cuts.

I would like to thank Elsa from Yelp for making all of this happen and we look forward to working with Yelp again.

When I saw this guy sit down in the barber’s chair, I had to get the camera.  This gentleman, who will affectionately call “Big Worm”, has been growing his hair for a year and decided it was time to cut it all off.  Yiro helped him shed the locks for a cleaner cut but unfortunately my camera ran out of battery.  However trust me, it turned out RIGHT!

Our loyal customer, Isaiah, came the shop for a haircut before he asked for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage.

Needless to say with a cut from Royal Razor, she said YES. Congratulations to you both!

From Isaiah via a Facebook post-

“Whether it is a big moment or just looking good, the skills, the customer service, and the experience at Royal Razor is unmatched by any shop I’ve been to in my life. They don’t rush through the cuts, they cut hair like a sweet story with a great plot that never ends. Making it a priority to stop by the shop and making sure that I look great for the woman I love was the absolute perfect decision. Thank you Jarrett, the barb, and thank you Razor Royal.”

It’s been a while since my last style post.  I’m still getting the blog content under control.  As previously mentioned, hair and fashion go hand and hand.  Therefore, from time to time, I will be writing about some style points and fashionable items that inspire me.

I want to talk about the resurgence of the camouflage pattern in men’s fashion as it pertains to pants.  If you have been shopping this  fall/winter you probably noticed that camo prints are everywhere.  And I am obsessed with camo pants.  They obviously have a military feel but can be dressed up very easily.

Take a look at this handsome guy here:

Camouflage camo pants

He manages to take a print that Army guys wear and turns it into a great look with the use of an un-constructed blazer and a white shirt.  Simple but stylish.  This is a great look to copy when you want to dress up and not be too serious.

If you want to get these pants, Dockers makes some just like this.
