25 May Lights, Camera, Action for Royal Razor Barbershop
As part of the Royal Razor marketing plan, I feel video content will be an essential element to the coolness of the brand. I want people to constantly look at the barbershop events and inner workings via video and wonder what they are missing out on when they are not there.
I just finished a meeting with two executives from a local video production company in Baltimore. They seem to be really cool and full of ideas. We had a great brain storming session where we threw around some thoughts about the goals and what the focus of the first two videos should be and how it can be achieved. It was a very productive meeting.
But as with all things for a small start up, it comes down to price. There is always a battle between wanting to grow and project a cool, slick image with the realistic constraints of financial limitations. So now I’m waiting to hear back from them with a proposal of work.
Royal Razor Barbershop, in Baltimore, MD, will be offering grooming services for men such as fades, scissor cuts, and hot towel shaves. The barbershop will specialize in cutting all hair types from black, Hispanic and other straight haired men.
